    hi, i have a question, i dropped an electric guitar straight on my big toe joint a week ago. it feels like its healing now except i tried runnin and discomfort returned, and also i noticed when i hold the joint with my fingers it feels like something is clicking, whereas before it was fairly firm, what does this mean and what should i do, thank you

      Hi Alen,

      The symptoms you’ve described are quite regular for a sprained or even jammed toe. Apply ice, rest, elevation and compression and give the toe some time to heal. Running or engaging in athletic activity may aggravate the injury and cause additional pain. You can avoid this by making sure you treat the toe with special attention in order to allow it to heal faster. Letting a minor injury heal now is better than an extended recovery later down the line.
